Creating big budget commercials encourages specialization. Advertisers pick a “food director” who in turn hires a food stylist who comes with an army; or a “beauty director” who gets the top make-up artist and a separate stylist who assigns a look for the endorser whose talent fee is equal to the entire production budget.
